SIGGRAPH is an annual event / expo in computer graphics and interactive techniques. It lasts 5 days and includes, demos, educational sessions, art, screenings, and hands-on interactivity including 3 days of commercial exhibits displaying the industry’s current hardware, software, and services.
In this episode I speak with Panos Zompolas about their rendering engine. Panos gives us a good overview of what a rendering engine is, how creative professionals can use them to improve the performance of Maya, Cinema 4D plus many other applications and he explains how distributed rendering works.
